Renal Transplant and Urology Nurse Opportunity

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Renal Transplant and Urology Nurse to join our team at Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX. As a member of our Renal Transplant and Urology-Progressive Care Unit (STC-3), you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of complex patients and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care.

Unit Summary

Our 35-bed progressive care unit is dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients with renal and pancreatic transplants, as well as those with urological conditions. As a Renal Transplant and Urology Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work closely with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Manage complex monitoring and drips for patients with renal and pancreatic transplants
  • Perform continuous and manual bladder irrigation for patients with urological conditions
  • Provide care to patients with pulmonary hypertension and implanted radioactive implants
  • Work closely with physicians and other team members to develop and implement individualized care plans

Qualifications
  • Grad of an Accredited Program
  • Specialized field of study should be nursing
  • A current and valid nursing license
  • Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role
