Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Renal PCU - Progressive Care Unit team in Temple, Texas.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in our Renal PCU - Progressive Care Unit. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients, including those with renal and pancreatic transplants, kidney transplants, and other complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop strategies to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current and valid nursing license.
- BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role.
