POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for executing all tasks related to maintaining the cleanliness and orderly appearance of assigned buildings.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Familiarity with cleaning methods, materials, and equipment. Strong attention to detail is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Empty waste and recycling bins and transport materials to designated areas.
2. Conduct thorough maintenance of hard flooring, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, buffing, stripping, and applying finishes.
3. Manage carpet care, including vacuuming, spot cleaning, and extraction.
4. Ensure restrooms are cleaned and disinfected, replenishing supplies as necessary.
5. Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, counters, walls, doors, and other areas.
6. Clean whiteboards and restock markers as needed.
7. Monitor inventory of custodial supplies and maintain organized storage areas.
8. Ensure cleaning equipment is in good working condition.
9. Maintain the cleanliness of exterior entrance areas and perform power washing as required.
10. Set up and dismantle rooms for meetings and events.
11. Address urgent requests and report maintenance needs to management.
12. Assist with snow and ice removal as well as general grounds upkeep.
13. Attend training sessions as required.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
Perform miscellaneous grounds tasks as needed, including lawn care and landscaping.
Maintain communication via cell phone or radio.
Check mailboxes regularly.
Move furniture and other materials as assigned.
Vacuum furniture and other areas as necessary.
Wear company-provided uniforms and safety equipment as required.
Report any hazardous situations to the appropriate authority.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None

Requirements:
Knowledge of cleaning practices and equipment.
Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
Capability to understand and apply relevant laws and guidelines.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work harmoniously with others.
Must possess a valid driver's license and pass necessary background checks.
