Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at DAP. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining environment, health, and safety programs at our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and communicate compliance obligations to plant leadership
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise on new/revised compliance obligations
- Develop and distribute plain language health/safety compliance requirement directives
- Provide direction and review of all safety systems
- Lead Process Safety Management (PSM), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and Risk Management Plan (RMP) compliance
- Conduct monthly issue review sessions with Corporate EH&S and Plant Managers
- Lead, assist, and maintain incident reporting procedures
- EHS Degree preferred
- Bachelor's degree in environmental health & safety or similar field
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Computer software familiarity
- Working knowledge of state and federal regulations
- Experience in research skills
- Certified Safety Professional preferred
