Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced X-ray Technologist Trainer to join our team in the Hanover, Maryland area. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for teaching and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Obtaining high-quality x-rays using correct positioning and radiation exposure techniques
  • Implementing safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure and ensure patient safety
  • Creating and documenting x-ray CD copies according to Patient First guidelines
  • Filing and maintaining all x-ray paperwork
  • Ensuring the safety of patients when using equipment such as wheelchairs and stools
  • Understanding and utilizing the automated medical records system
  • Cleaning work areas and performing maintenance tasks as directed
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 18 years old
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Keyboarding experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • One year of clerical experience preferred
  • One year of clinical experience preferred
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Licensed to practice as a Radiologic Technologist by the Maryland Board of Physicians
