Job Summary

The Senior Automotive Technician position requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to mentor and train junior technicians. You'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex drivability and electrical systems, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications
  • Perform brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems repairs
  • Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals
  • Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training
  • Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities
Requirements
  • Valid automobile driver's license
  • Minimum 3 years of automotive repair experience
  • A.S.E. certification in at least 3 (three) of A1-A8
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people
  • Reading, writing, and math skills
