Job Overview
Volt, a leading IT staffing firm, is seeking a talented Technology Trainer to join our team. This part-time contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our clients.

About the Role
You will be responsible for teaching technology courses virtually and in-person, creating a comfortable learning environment, and providing personalized support to callers on the Senior Planet hotlines. You will also engage in regular communication with CLIENT staff, coordinate with site staff, and submit paperwork in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
• Teach technology courses virtually and in-person using the CLIENT curriculum and approach
• Create a comfortable and supportive learning environment
• Offer personalized support to callers on the Senior Planet hotlines
• Make outbound calls to Senior Planet members
• Maintain professionalism at all times
• Represent and promote Client culture and opportunities to course participants
• Engage in regular communication with CLIENT staff, including feedback on site issues, curriculum, etc.
• Coordinate with site staff, including site visits, graduations, etc.
• Submit paperwork in a timely manner
• Collect surveys and evaluations
• Enter data into Salesforce database
• Participate in trainer meetings and other training events
• Recruit participants, as needed
• Participate in special projects, as needed (ex. outreach, curriculum, etc.)

Requirements
• Excellent speaking and communication skills
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly in English, English and Mandarin OR English and Spanish
• Experience teaching teenagers, adults, and/or seniors, preferable
• Proficiency with Windows computers, iOS, popular social media sites, and other common technologies/devices
• Comfortable traveling to various senior/community centers as needed, when/if safe to do so
• Ability to work independently and as part of a training team
• Superior time-management skills
• Flexibility, patience, and a sense of humor
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a professional work setting
