Nesco Resource is seeking a skilled Inspector to join our team. As an Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our labels by inspecting, rewinding, and packaging them to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect Labels: Verify labels for accuracy, completeness, and quality before shipment.
- Identify Defects: Detect and correct defects, such as incorrect label information, color inaccuracies, and label count errors.
- Verify Jobs and Job Categories: Ensure accuracy of job and job category information.
- Complete Shipping Documentation: Prepare and complete shipping documentation upon successful inspection.
- Maintain Workstations and Machines: Clean and maintain workstations and machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Pre-Run and End-Run Evaluation: Conduct pre-run and end-run evaluation procedures to ensure all required paperwork is complete.
- Label-Count Verification: Verify label counts to ensure accuracy.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to identify issues and evaluate options to implement solutions.
- Knowledge of Production Processes: Understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques used to effectively manufacture and distribute materials and products.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of machines, tools, and computers, including design, use, repairs, and maintenance.
- Mathematical Applications: Ability to understand mathematical applications, such as measurement and logic.
- Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills: Good customer service and interpersonal skills to work with a wide range of professions and personalities.
- Communication Skills: Good analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Training and Instruction: Ability to train, instruct, and measure individual ability.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/roll pallets with a pallet jack, and stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces.
- Visual Acuity: Excellent hand-eye coordination and acute depth perception.
- Color Perception: Ability to decipher colors.
- Pre-Employment Screening: Must be able to pass pre-employment screening, including drug testing.
