Job Overview

The primary responsibility of the Client Relations Specialist is to warmly welcome visitors to the Furnitureland South campus. This role involves managing the flow of the controlled guest list, as well as providing support to Design Consultants and their clients by utilizing manufacturers' resources and maintaining an organized Design Center.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Welcome clients upon their arrival.
  2. Utilize computerized guest lists to inform Design Consultants of their availability.
  3. Handle incoming calls from both internal and external clients, addressing inquiries regarding hours, manufacturers, and basic product information.
  4. Assist clients with their needs during their visit (e.g., connecting with Design Consultants, providing accommodations, and sharing information about the facilities).
  5. Collaborate with manufacturer representatives to coordinate, catalog, and maintain display inventory in the Design Center in excellent condition.
  6. Support Design Consultants in creating presentations for client use.
  7. Ensure the Design Center and manufacturers' resources are clean, up-to-date, and well-organized.
  8. Assist Design Consultants with catalogs, fabrics, and finishes.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Onsite position

Required Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or equivalent

2. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Associate degree or higher.
  2. Two years of experience in an administrative or clerical role.
  3. Proficiency in Adobe Suite.
Work Environment

This position operates within a professional office setting. The role regularly utilizes standard office equipment such as laptops, photocopiers, and smartphones.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to communicate verbally and audibly. Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. This may necessitate the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as needed.
