We are seeking an experienced AI&T Manager to join our team at EVONA, a leading company specializing in solar electric propulsion systems and space exploration satellites. As a crucial member of our Production Operations management team, you will oversee the system-level integration and assembly of spacecraft throughout the entire program lifecycle, managing team activities and schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Spacecraft Hardware: Coordinate AI&T tasks, plan daily and weekly activities across all stakeholders, including your team, program management, system and sub-system engineers, technicians, and quality assurance.
  • Lead the Production and Test Team: Serve as the Staff Manager, lead the team, mentor other manufacturing and test team stakeholders, provide training and mentorship, and offer reviews and feedback on documentation.
  • Ensure Quality and Compliance: Ensure the production and test area and personnel are fully trained and adhering to customer and QMS requirements for quality, inspections, FOD, ESD, and specific handling of space hardware.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Identify and Acquire Test Equipment: Identify and acquire test equipment to meet testing needs.
  • Author and Implement Integration Travelers and Test Plans: Author, review, update, and implement integration travelers and test plans.
  • Collaborate with Systems and Design Engineering: Collaborate with systems and design engineering to support verification planning and testing.
  • Interface with Customers and Suppliers: Interface and coordinate with customers and suppliers for program, design, and peer reviews.
  • Provide Technical Oversight: Provide technical oversight and support to teams of engineers and technicians.
  • Define EGSE and MGSE: Define EGSE and MGSE necessary to support programs; help design and implement EGSE and MGSE for program support.
  • Lead Safety Efforts: Lead safety efforts for the shop and facility, ensuring proper measures are in place for PPE, procedures, and travelers.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Supply Chain: Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and supply chain organizations to ensure successful program logistics execution.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7-15 years of experience in a production or testing-related environment.
  • Aerospace Experience: Experience with aerospace or similar systems of rigor.
  • Manufacturing Processes: Experience with manufacturing processes and testing.
  • AS9100 Processes: Experience with AS9100 processes and certification.
  • US Citizenship: US Citizen.
