Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Answering call lights and responding to resident needs
• Ensuring all nursing care is provided in a private and respectful manner
• Assisting residents with daily grooming, feeding, and mobility needs
• Transporting residents to and from meals and activities
• Reporting any changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of CNA training from an accredited school
• Valid CNA certificate number
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
• Ability to use a computer or tablet to enter resident data

Working Conditions

• May encounter frequent interruptions and be involved with residents, family, and government agencies
• May be requested to work beyond scheduled hours and be subject to call-back during emergency conditions
• May be exposed to odors, dust, disinfectants, and other hazardous materials
