Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners to ensure optimal performance and image quality
  • Prepare patients for CT exams, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and administering contrast media
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, adhering to established protocols and guidelines
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and imaging outcomes
Requirements
  • ARRT certification in CT
  • 1 year of experience in CT scanning
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Siemens scanners
  • Knowledge of PACS and contrast media administration
  • Ability to work in a level 1 trauma center and high-complexity cases
