As a Interventional Radiologic Technologist, you will assure that services are provided to patients and referring specialists within professional standards and maintains positive work relationships with radiologists and other physicians referring to the company. Day in and day out, you'll be part of a team providing a wide range of screening, diagnostic and interventional procedures with compassion and integrity to ensure the highest quality, access, service and value to our patients, referring providers and partners.This is a fulltime day position at our Maplewood center. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:(85%) Patient Procedures and CareAssists physician with routine and advanced interventional/vascular procedures, including scrubbing and circulatingSupports patient clinic visitsExplains and prepares patients for procedures that will be performedAdjusts equipment as necessaryFollows physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations to protect themselves, their patients, and coworkersWorks within company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelinesAccurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)Maintains sterile environment during procedures, completes room turnaround within infection control guidelines, and maintains an orderly and clean work area(10%) Imaging SupportMonitors medical supply inventoryAssists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise(5%) Performs other duties as assigned
