About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Associate to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional tax services to our clients, ensuring their tax needs are met with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tax interviews with clients, gathering information to prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations and applicable state requirements.
  • Generate business growth by offering additional products and services to clients, increasing client retention and satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve office priorities, contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
