About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at HCA HealthONE Rose. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing technical quality testing for patients in the laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical quality testing for neonates, pediatrics, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the laboratory setting in compliance with CAP, JCAHO, OSHA, AABB, FDA, and CLIA standards
  • Maintain knowledge of all procedures and protocols
  • Perform required quality control and function verification of equipment

Requirements

  • ASCP or AMT certification required within 6 months of hire. ASCP is the preferred certification. Continued employment will be based on valid certification
  • Associate degree in related science required. Bachelor's degree in related science preferred.
  • A college graduate or equivalent who has passed a certification examination for Medical Technologist by ASCP or AMT or has completed an accredited MLT program with ASCP Board Certification is also accepted.
  • Experience in a hospital laboratory is desired but not necessary.
