Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Implementation Consultant to join our team at HPG. As a key member of our clinical informatics team, you will play a critical role in helping healthcare providers improve patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes through the effective design, build, and testing of Epic software.

About the Role

In this position, you will advise and assist clinicians in achieving their patient care goals by leveraging your expertise in Epic software and healthcare IT. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Epic Implementations: Collaborate with healthcare organizations to design, build, and test Epic software solutions that meet their unique needs.
  • Clinical Informatics: Apply your knowledge of clinical workflows and Epic software to improve patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes.
  • Healthcare IT Expertise: Utilize your experience in healthcare IT to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in clinical or healthcare IT, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Epic design, build, and testing.
  • Epic certification or comparable experience in EpicCare Inpatient Order Entry, Willow Inpatient Pharmacy, Beaker Clinical Lab, and AP expertise.
  • Ability to travel regularly to customer sites as required.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
