Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our team at Little Colorado Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform computed tomography examinations of the body to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injury.
  • Operate the CT scanner and select appropriate studies for the lowest possible dose.
  • Administer contrast media and perform venipuncture skills as needed.
  • Transport patients to and from the CT suite and obtain consent for intravenous injection of contrast media.
  • Perform routine cleaning duties between patients and notify the supervisor of any malfunctioning equipment.
  • Assist with departmental clerical duties, including inputting patient information into the RIS and answering departmental phones.
Requirements
  • Meet as needed with the supervisor to discuss policies and procedures, rules and regulations, supplies, equipment, needs, and problems.
  • Comply with established policies and procedures and maintain strict confidentiality of all patients.
  • Cooperate with department staff to achieve goals and maintain good employee relations, interdepartmental, and public relations.
  • Attend meetings as required and stay current with hospital safety.
  • Keep up to date in the field of CT Technology and have basic knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
