About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to join our growing real estate development and management company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to our leadership team.

Responsibilities

* Manage job cost and work-in-progress (WIP) accounting for our construction projects
* Ensure compliance with general accounting procedures and regulatory requirements
* Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
* Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
* Collaborate with our leadership team to develop and implement business strategies

Requirements

* High school diploma with 5+ years of accounting experience; associates or bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting preferred
* Recent job cost/WIP accounting experience, construction background preferred
* Experience with Yardi software
* Knowledge of general accounting procedures
* Proficient in data entry and time management

* Competitive base salary of $100,000 - $130,000 per year
