About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team at Fabrika, where we pride ourselves on serving high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining cleanliness and organization while upholding all safety and health standards.

As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to standard recipes and specifications. You will ensure that food is presented in a visually appealing and timely manner, set up, stock, and maintain assigned workstations before and during shifts, and follow proper portion control and food preparation techniques.

You will also maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and workstations, assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring, and follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and storage. Effective communication with team members is crucial to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

This role requires a strong organizational and multitasking ability in a high-pressure environment, as well as flexibility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A team player with excellent communication skills and knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification is a plus) is preferred. The physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs is also required.
