UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Kidney Transplant Clinic team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our transplant specialists to deliver exceptional outcomes.

**About the Role**

This is an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting, providing comprehensive care to patients with kidney disease. The ideal candidate will have a patient-centered approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

**Responsibilities**

Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing physical examinations, including psychological status assessments. Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic studies as needed. Provide education and counseling to patients and families on current care and preventive health measures. Collaborate with our transplant team to ensure seamless care coordination and facilitate quality-related initiatives and clinical research protocols.

**Requirements**

Graduate of a master's degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program, or Master's degree or higher in nursing with completion of an accredited Advanced Practice Education Program. Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the Texas State Board of Nursing. One year of relevant clinical experience is strongly preferred.
