Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Culinary Student Assistant to join our team at NorthWest Arkansas Community College. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our storeroom, classrooms, kitchens, and common areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Storeroom Operations: Assist the Storeroom Supervisor with inventory management, cleaning, and organization of the storeroom.
  • Classroom Support: Help with building carts for class instructions and supporting classes as needed.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized environment in the kitchens, classrooms, and common areas.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing supplies.
  • Customer Service: Interact with students, staff members, and the public in a positive and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Currently enrolled student in good academic standing at Brightwater.
  • Experience: Experience and interest in professional food service.
Working Conditions

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, push or pull items, and interact with other staff members.
