Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Makeup Artist/Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our salon team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, performing makeup applications, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform makeup applications on guests from our Signature Makeup Menu, including custom applications and bridal services.
  • Become a product knowledge expert of Glo Skin Beauty, our chief makeup partner, and complete certification.
  • Receive ongoing education and training through our partnership with Glo Skin Beauty.
  • Participate in off-site services, including cross-promotional events and pop-ups.
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment alongside a passionate and dedicated team of hair and beauty experts.
  • Represent Blo Blow Dry Bar as a brand ambassador, embodying our values and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements
  • Cosmetology license for the state.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience applying makeup (preferred, but not required).
  • Salon industry experience or working knowledge.
  • Passion for the hair and beauty industry.
  • Ability to work weekends and be flexible with scheduling.
