We are seeking a highly skilled Simulation Educator to join our team at UW Health. As a Simulation Educator, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and assessing simulation-based education programs for our healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with course/program leaders and clinical simulation staff to design, implement, and evaluate simulation-based education programs.
- Develop and maintain curriculum materials, including educational design, best practices, and evaluation methodologies.
- Function as an expert resource in simulation-based education, providing guidance and support to learners and faculty.
- Master's degree in education, simulation, healthcare, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience, with a focus on patient simulation services, education, technologies, and applications.
- Certification as an American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor or eligibility to obtain BLS Instructor certification.
- Additional certifications in American Heart Association courses, Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support are preferred.
