About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our wound care team at AHS - Sherman Medical Center. As a skilled RN, you will have the opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise and passion for wound healing to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient rounds to identify appropriate treatment plans for patients with skin integrity breakdown
  • Review and make recommendations on treatment plans based on established hospital policies and procedures
  • Implement evidence-based wound care practices to promote optimal healing outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and training to staff members on wound care best practices

Requirements

  • Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Texas
  • BCLS certification upon hire and maintain current
  • ACLS certification within 6 months and maintain current
  • Minimum of three years experience in an acute care hospital setting
  • Knowledge of theory, techniques, and practices of wound care management
  • Wound Care Certification preferred

Benefits
