We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Bone Marrow Transplant Department at the Cleveland Clinic. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of caregivers and provide exceptional care to patients with oncologic and immunologic disorders.
Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care to patients receiving chemotherapy, targeted cancer therapies, and other types of radiation therapies. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, be passionate about delivering high-quality care, and have a strong commitment to teamwork and patient safety.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care possible.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate, ensuring that patients and families are informed and involved in their care.
- Prepare patient care plans, administer prescribed medications, and perform bedside hand-off reports and thorough bedside daily rounds.
- Focus on the diagnosis and treatment of various malignancies and hematologic diseases, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- BSN preferred.
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire.
- Other certifications as required by the department or unit.
