Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at the Art Ovation Hotel in Sarasota, Florida. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality in our food and beverage operations.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department.
  • Maintain food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications.
  • Ensure communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors, and Staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications
  • Minimum one year of experience in a similar position dealing with the public.
  • Minimum state age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
  • ServSafe and/or food safety training.
  • Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
