Job Title: Cardiology Healthcare Provider

This is an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a respected Cardiology practice located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with physicians on the management of Cardiology patients including clinic visits and appointments, hospital rounds, development and implementation of a medical management plan, and ongoing follow up of any patient care issues. The successful candidate will be able to provide demonstrable experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating Cardiology patients using evidence-based care and best practice protocols.

About the Role:
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant maintains the continuum of care through the coordination and integration of all phases of patient care using physician orders, progress notes, care plans, critical pathways, managed care guidelines, best practice protocols, evidence-based care, and the utilization review processes. This includes performing physical examinations, conducting approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, prescribing appropriate interventions and medications, and collaborating with consulting physicians and health care professionals.

Salary and Benefits:
We are offering a competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $170,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement benefits, public service loan forgiveness, short- and long-term disability, and professional malpractice coverage with tail coverage.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have a Master's degree as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP, ACNP only), national certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, state of Michigan license, and at least 2 years of Cardiology experience. You should also possess excellent assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills, and be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
