Cardiology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our respected Cardiology practice located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The ideal candidate will maintain the continuum of care through the coordination and integration of all phases of patient care using physician orders, progress notes, care plans, critical pathways, managed care guidelines, best practice protocols, evidence-based care, and the utilization review processes.
This position requires cross-continuum care starting with assessment and education, immediate post-procedure care and preparation for discharge, working closely with nursing staff including ICU, progressive and general care.
Responsibilities include directing and coordinating a health care plan for the assigned patient population by performing physical examinations, conducting approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, prescribing appropriate interventions and medications, and collaborating with consulting physicians and healthcare professionals.

Estimated salary range is $120,000 - $150,000 per year based on experience.
