Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist-PRN to join our team at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. As a Medical Technologist-PRN, you will play a critical role in providing timely and accurate lab results to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to ensure accurate and timely results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies to maintain high-quality results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and laboratory processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field.
  • Certification/registration as a Medical Technologist or eligibility for certification/registry.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
