Security Officer Job Description
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Grand View Hospital. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Patrol hospital premises to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and intrusion
* Monitor and respond to emergency situations, including accidents and injuries, crimes in progress, and safety hazards
* Secure weapons and contraband from assigned zones
* Escort personnel and visitors to parking lots and hospital buildings
* Maintain records and prepare incident reports
* Perform operations relating to security command, including monitoring surveillance cameras and answering the phone
**Requirements:**
* High School Diploma/GED required
* Active PA Driver's License required upon hire

* One 8-hour shift a week, either Saturday or Sunday
