Loss Prevention Officer II

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday - 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Officer II to join our team at Ace Hardware Corporation. As a Loss Prevention Officer II, you will be responsible for overseeing and supervising employees entering and exiting the building, conducting Safety/Hazard/Security audits, and ensuring the safe and secure handling of inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular Safety/Hazard/Security audits to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Supervise and oversee employees entering and exiting the building, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to security incidents as needed
  • Conduct general investigations, inventory counts, and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory
  • Provide training to other employees on safety and security procedures
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional shifts and hours
  • Experience with CCTV preferred
  • Degree in Criminal Justice or 3-5 years of practical experience in Security, Loss Prevention, or Law Enforcement Field preferred
  • Able to work a varied schedule to include early mornings, swing shift, nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary
  • CPR/First Aide Certified or able to obtain certification through company provided training
