We are in search of a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our Manufacturing team. As a Manufacturing Support Specialist, your role will involve assisting in the assembly, installation, preparation, and testing of various components. Additionally, you may provide support in Quality Assurance, Operations, Service, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and other related areas as necessary.

Your responsibilities will encompass creating support documentation, collaborating with team members, identifying quality concerns, aiding in equipment selection/setup, and driving continuous improvements in our manufacturing processes. A hands-on approach and a passion for a dynamic, startup atmosphere are essential.

This position requires on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble a range of components for our Autonomous Security Robots (ASRs) by adhering to technical schematics, verbal/written instructions, and established standards.
  • Possess foundational knowledge in soldering, wiring, electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, and the proper utilization of related tools.
  • Utilize your skills to troubleshoot basic electronic assemblies, wiring, and mechanical systems.
  • Assist in the design and/or development of tools and fixtures necessary for robot assembly.
  • Enhance production line efficiency and product quality.
  • Support the collection, preparation, and analysis of data and the development of procedures.
  • Engage in Lean practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain an organized workspace (5S).

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills in Production, Assembly, and Manufacturing.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formats.
  • Basic understanding of process improvement with an emphasis on data accuracy.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to manage complex objectives and team goals in a fast-paced setting.
  • Positive attitude and a thoughtful approach to challenges.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a startup environment.
  • Willingness to assist other departments as needed.
  • Adaptability to changes in direction based on production requirements.

Compensation: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour based on experience.
