">About the Role
">We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at West Fraser, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient completion of all maintenance projects in our mill during regular and annual maintenance days.
">Job Description
">The Maintenance Coordinator will work closely with our Reliability Maintenance Manager to plan and schedule maintenance projects, identify required parts, arrange contractors, and create job plans. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- ">
- Convert approved work requests into work orders">
- Assist with daily work request review">
- Identify required parts for planned jobs">
- Arrange pre-scheduled contractors and ensure they meet qualification requirements">
- Create job plans, including labor, materials, services, tools, and procedures">
- Update Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules in our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)">
- Manage PM schedules and verify parts availability prior to shutdowns">
- Ensure work orders are properly closed and maintained">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will require:
">- ">
- Certified Journeyman or Master trade certification in Millwright or Electrical">
- Preventative Maintenance program training experience">
- At least 5 years of experience in the trade, preferably in an industrial plant setting">
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office software">
- A strong understanding of maintenance planning principles and practices">
- Able to work effectively in a team environment">
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills">
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management">
What We Offer
">We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) matching program.
