Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Director of Imaging Services and in collaboration with the Medical Director, the Radiologic Technologist III is responsible for performing a variety of radiologic procedures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring patients throughout procedures
  • Executing specialized radiologic techniques in accordance with departmental protocols
  • Working across different areas and utilizing various equipment
  • Assisting with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives
  • Coordinating patient flow effectively
  • Employing independent judgment to obtain optimal diagnostic images
  • Maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment
  • Supporting the Radiologist during procedures with sterile techniques
  • Additional duties as assigned

This role requires flexibility in working various shifts, including weekends, and the ability to be on call as needed.

Qualifications:
1. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
2. Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
3. Current Computed Tomography (CT) License and special procedures certification
4. Active ARRT certification
5. Current Certified Radiology Technologist (CRT) certification from the California Radiologic Health Branch (RHB)
6. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
7. Preferred experience in Cath Lab procedures

Mandatory Requirements:
1. Annual training including Orientation, Annual Update, Ethics Training, BLS, Direct Care Provider, CPI
2. Fluoroscopic permit required
3. Venipuncture certification for contrast administration within one (1) year of hire

Compensation:
Sign-On Bonus of up to $25,000 based on experience
Pay Range: $35.75 - $55.00 per hour, negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Work Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
