Job Overview

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director of Imaging Services and in collaboration with the Medical Director, the Radiologic Technologist is responsible for executing a variety of radiologic examinations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring patients throughout procedures
  • Conducting specialized radiologic procedures in accordance with departmental standards
  • Working across multiple areas and utilizing diverse equipment
  • Assisting with quality assurance (QA) and quality improvement (QI) initiatives
  • Coordinating patient flow effectively
  • Exercising independent judgment and technical skills to capture optimal diagnostic images
  • Maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment
  • Supporting the Radiologist during procedures with sterile techniques
  • Performing additional duties as necessary

This role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, and to be available for on-call duties.

Qualifications:

  1. Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  2. At least three (3) years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  3. Possession of a current Computed Tomography (CT) License and Special Procedures certification
  4. Current ARRT certification
  5. Valid Certified Radiology Tech (CRT) certification from the California Radiologic Health Branch (RHB)
  6. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  7. Cath Lab experience is preferred
