Your Role:
As a Host/Cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a memorable visit. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing information about our dining options, including hours of operation and menu highlights.
  • Staying informed about our beverage offerings, including beer styles and cocktail recommendations.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the entry area and To-Go counter.
  • Collaborating with fellow team members to deliver exceptional service.
  • Greeting and seating guests according to their preferences and availability.
  • Informing guests about specials and personal favorites.
  • Accurately processing To-Go orders and ensuring completeness.
  • Managing the reservation system and ensuring the host area is well-stocked.
  • Ensuring dining areas are set up and maintained to our standards.
  • Processing payments efficiently through our POS system.
  • Complying with all relevant regulations regarding alcohol service.
  • Participating in special events and assisting as needed.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations regarding food handling and cleanliness.
  • Completing assigned opening, closing, and side duties.
  • Reporting tips accurately at the end of your shift.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED.
  • One year of experience in a high-volume host or cashier role is preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service within a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
  • Experience with cash handling is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills are essential.
  • Ability to operate a POS system and perform basic math functions.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members and guests.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
