Role Responsibilities

As a Night Operations Auditor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial transactions that occur throughout the day at our resort. You will oversee the front desk operations during the night shift, ensuring that guests receive top-notch service during their check-in and check-out processes. This position is essential in shaping the overall guest experience during nighttime hours.

Key Duties Include:

  • Providing accurate room rate quotes and effectively upselling services to guests.
  • Coordinating activities between the Front Desk and Housekeeping departments.
  • Ensuring all charges and credits are accurately reflected in guest accounts.
  • Collecting payments and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Balancing cash and cash equivalents at the start and end of each shift.
  • Addressing guest inquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Supporting management and staff with administrative and reception tasks.
  • Managing incoming calls and assisting walk-in guests.

Essential Functions:

  • Delivering a superior guest experience.
  • Informing guests about hotel policies, services, and amenities.
  • Responding to guest requests for local information and assistance.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to maintain knowledge of key accounts.
  • Updating reservation details in the computer system.
  • Processing guest payments and managing account discrepancies.
  • Conducting audits and generating necessary reports.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  • Participating in the property's security protocols and reporting any safety concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in hospitality, specifically in front desk operations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
