  • Conduct regular inspections of condensate equipment, documenting operational metrics and making necessary adjustments to controls.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of condensate return systems across various facilities.
  • Quickly identify and resolve operational challenges to enhance system reliability and performance.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of contractual obligations related to condensate return, collaborating with both customer and company leadership to ensure adherence.
  • Perform minor repairs related to electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems.
  • Carry out sampling and testing of condensate within the operational systems.
  • Support equipment shutdowns and startups, following established safety protocols.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and functional work environment.
  • Contribute to the development and revision of standard operating procedures.
  • Provide support for overhead distribution piping systems as needed.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned, including administrative duties and inspections.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of four years of experience in steam plant operations or maintenance, specifically in steam distribution and condensate return systems.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills, both conceptual and practical.
  • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Mechanical aptitude with a demonstrated ability to interpret blueprints or CAD drawings.
  • Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various industrial software applications within a short timeframe.

Work Environment:

  • Work may be conducted in varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
  • Travel between different facilities may be required, with adherence to safety gear protocols.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to bend, walk, and carry equipment as necessary, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • A valid driver's license is required for travel within the operational area.
