Rental Equipment Coordinator

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Rental Coordinator. This role is part of our growing team of established and successful rental professionals.

  • Answer incoming rental and sales related calls, maintaining a call log to track interactions.
  • Qualify customer needs with rental equipment availability, ensuring the right equipment is provided for the task.
  • Assist customers in understanding equipment specifications, safety concerns, and proper use, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Initiate and maintain rental contracts accurately and timely, ensuring seamless transactions.
  • Acquire necessary information for the credit department to approve payment terms, facilitating smooth financial processes.
  • Process CAT Access and credit card payments, providing customers with convenient payment options.
  • Coordinate with service departments at all locations to arrange rental-ready status of the fleet, ensuring equipment is in optimal condition.
  • Communicate with the transportation department for rental deliveries and call-offs, streamlining logistics.
  • Obtain proof of required insurance from customers' insurance companies, verifying compliance.
  • Assist other Rental Coordinators and Salesmen in maximizing rental inventory utilization across the company, promoting efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, adapting to changing needs.

Requirements:

  • Must be organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of equipment product lines is essential for success in this role.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with customers and internal teams.
  • A high level of flexibility, cooperation, and teamwork is required to work effectively with all departments and locations.
  • Knowledge of current company policies and procedures is necessary for compliance and efficiency.
  • Basic keyboard and computer skills, as well as proficiency with Lotus Notes and DBSI, are required for daily tasks.
  • Able to work overtime and travel when required, adapting to changing needs.
