Position Overview

As a caregiver at Belmont Village, you will offer essential personal support to seniors residing in our expansive Assisted Living and Memory Care community. This role is perfect for individuals who are reliable, attentive, patient, compassionate, and enjoy engaging with older adults on a personal level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community.
  • Promote social interaction and encourage participation in community activities while ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, adhering to customized service plans and reporting any changes in residents' care needs to supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with care, safety, and cleanliness standards as per regulatory requirements.
  • Provide hands-on support with personal hygiene, toileting, and incontinence care as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficient in both verbal and written English.
  • Prior experience as a caregiver or relevant training in care provision is preferred.
  • Availability to work the defined schedule, which may include weekends and holidays.

Preferred Attributes

  • A minimum of one year of direct care experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Skilled Nursing settings.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions while collaborating with a team to achieve common goals.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Observant, reliable, adaptable, and respectful in all interactions.
