About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategy Engagement Lead Hematology to join our team at Takeda Oncology. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic engagement plans with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare providers in the hematology space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Prioritize KOLs: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize KOLs who can have a significant impact on our business strategy.
  • Develop Engagement Plans: Develop comprehensive engagement plans that align with our business objectives and leverage our commercial capabilities.
  • Lead Commercial Ad Boards: Lead commercial ad boards to generate insights that inform our commercial strategy and implementation.
  • Utilize Veeva Link Tools: Utilize Veeva Link tools to elevate planning and engagement with KOLs and healthcare providers.
  • Speaker Bureau Management: Identify and maintain a robust speaker bureau, including communication and relationship management.
  • Peer-to-Peer Strategy: Lead and partner with marketing and sales teams on peer-to-peer strategy, including in-practice programs, congress podiums, and sponsorships.
  • Conduct Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify key opportunities and challenges in the hematology space.
  • Develop Business Cases: Develop business cases that align with our commercial strategy and objectives.
  • Present to Senior Leaders: Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders, including the head of marketing and the CEO.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional who has a strong background in commercial oncology and hematology. You should have a proven track record of developing and executing successful engagement strategies, as well as experience working with KOLs and healthcare providers.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years' experience in sales, account management, and/or marketing product management.
  • 5+ years' relevant therapeutic oncology or rare disease experience with increasing job responsibilities.
  • Some marketing experience or cross-matrix project leadership required; implementation of marketing programs and patient education at the local level preferred.
  • Experience working in oncology or rare disease therapeutic areas preferred.
  • Prior experience managing marketing/advertising/promotion budgets preferred.
  • Active Hematology/Oncology KOL relationships is a plus.
  • Successful track record in pharmaceutical marketing or equivalent.
  • Ability to analyze business problems, identify key issues, develop solutions, implement tactical programs, and design metrics to measure business impact.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to visualize, develop, and implement effective marketing tactics.
  • Ability to communicate, influence, and lead with both internal and external customers.
  • Proven track record of collaboration working with cross-functional groups.
  • Dynamic, self-starter with the ability to effectively work remotely.
