Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team at Avera McKennan- Hospital. As a Neurodiagnostic/EEG Technologist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care through EEG and neurodiagnostic procedures.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled EEG Technologist to join our hospital team in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. You will be responsible for performing routine and STAT EEG studies, monitoring patient conditions, and maintaining medical equipment. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and STAT EEG studies in an Acute Hospital setting for all age groups.
  • Schedule Outpatient EEG studies for pediatrics and adults.
  • Initiate proper interventions based upon interpretation of changes in the patient's condition and extract relevant information from the patient's chart.
  • Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot medical and general support equipment.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of EEG/EEG/Neurodiagnostics Technology.
  • Registration in EEG (R.EEG T.) or evoke potentials (R.EP T.) from the American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist is required within two years of accepting the position.
