Animal Welfare Coordinator

Estimated Salary: $30,000 - $45,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Animal Welfare Coordinator to join our team at Happy Tails Resort. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for promoting animal welfare and ensuring the health and well-being of our canine guests.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Monitoring the health and behavior of our dogs and reporting any concerns to management
  • Developing and implementing procedures for maintaining a safe and healthy environment
  • Collaborating with our daycare attendants to ensure the highest standards of care

In addition to your daily responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with our customers, assist with educational programs, and participate in ongoing training and development programs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A passion for animal welfare and a commitment to promoting animal-friendly practices
  • Basic knowledge of animal behavior and body language
  • The ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals
  • Basic computer skills for using our software systems
