Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Wellness Center Manager with the daily administration of the center, including supervising staff, managing schedules, and fostering client relationships.
  • Provide guidance and encouragement to wellness center personnel, promoting a positive and efficient work atmosphere.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of wellness initiatives, marketing campaigns, and special events.
  • Ensure the facility is well-maintained, emphasizing cleanliness, safety, and the proper operation of equipment.
  • Address client feedback and resolve any issues swiftly and effectively.
  • Support inventory management tasks, including the ordering and stocking of supplies and products.
  • Assist the Manager with financial oversight, including budgeting, reporting, and payroll management.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations as well as wellness center policies.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to uphold high service standards.
  • Act in the capacity of the Wellness Center Manager during their absence.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally within wellness, fitness, or hospitality sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of wellness services and a commitment to promoting health and well-being.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient multitasking and time management skills in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and management software.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and navigate the facility for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
