GENERAL SUMMARY:

Assisting healthcare providers in delivering exceptional medical services to patients, while also providing occasional front desk support in a clinical environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducting patient intake and interviews to collect medical history, measure vital signs, weight, and height, and accurately document the information. (40%)
  • Supporting healthcare providers during patient assessments and treatments by supplying necessary tools, materials, or performing tasks such as administering vaccinations. (25%)
  • Preparing examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring they are adequately stocked, sanitized, and organized, managing inventory, and disposing of hazardous materials. (10%)
  • Coordinating scheduling of procedures, obtaining necessary authorizations, and managing related administrative duties. (15%)
  • Performing tasks such as collecting blood or other lab samples, logging them, preparing for analysis, and administering vaccinations. (5%)
  • Handling front-office responsibilities utilizing electronic health record systems proficiently. (5%)

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • CPR certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a direct patient care role, including proficiency in vital signs monitoring. The candidate should be skilled in clinical tasks such as injections, phlebotomy, and EKGs.
