About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Richmond, VA. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with diverse populations and enhance functional abilities.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing skilled therapy services to address various needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive client evaluations to identify goals and needs
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes
- Develop and implement treatment plans that promote independence and functional abilities
- Provide skilled therapy services to address fine motor skills, sensory integration, activities of daily living, and more
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- NBCOT certification and state licensure in Occupational Therapy or eligibility for licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working with diverse populations preferred
