About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Airworthiness Engineer Senior to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our Fighter Airworthiness Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support business needs and enable innovation and increased efficiencies within the E&T organization.
  • Manage Airworthiness artifacts and data requirements to support Airworthiness cycles for development test, production, and sustainment/retrofits.
  • Ensure data integrity of artifacts.

Requirements
  • Airworthiness certification experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Engineering.
  • Desired skills include Airworthiness experience with MIL-HDBK-516, experience multi-tasking in a dynamic work environment, strong MS Excel & PowerPoint skills, experience working with cross-functional teams and frequent status reporting to management, strong organization and coordination skills with high attention to detail, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Clearance Level

This position requires a government security clearance, and you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedule

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
