About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Technician to join our team at Ascension Providence in Waco, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support services.

Responsibilities
  • Perform basic and advanced patient care activities as delegated by supervising nurses in assigned areas.
  • Aid with patient movement and placement.
  • Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
  • Report findings or changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
  • Document necessary records.
  • Maintain patient rooms and medical equipment.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Patient Care certification from the National Healthcareer Association or National Center for Competency Testing within 6 months of hire date.
  • High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
