Lynn Community Health Center is seeking a highly skilled Enrollment Coordinator Certified to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our patients and ensuring they receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance on Qualified Health Plans (QHP) and Qualified Dental Plans (QDP) to patients.
  • Conduct thorough interviews to determine eligibility for subsidized health assistance programs using a mathematical formula.
  • Offer exceptional client support and advocacy by investigating and responding to billing questions/issues between members and providers.
  • Effectively communicate enrollment eligibility in a clear and concise manner to patients.
  • Collaborate with LCHC billing, clinical support, social services staff, and hospital billing staff to facilitate access to care for health center patients.
  • Assist patients with selecting or changing insurance plans, answering questions about plan benefits, including out-of-pocket expenses, co-pays, and deductibles.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of medical support office program preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office).
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), professional demeanor, excellent problem-solving skills, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to handle a heavy caseload of patients.
  • History of good attendance and positive work attitude.
  • Experience working with insurance enrollment systems.
  • Familiarity with minority health access and social issues required.
  • Experience with and knowledge of the health needs of community health center populations.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Russian, Arabic, French Creole, or Khmer preferred.
