Position Overview

  • Utilize technical knowledge in water resources engineering for analysis and design
  • Work collaboratively with the Water Resources Engineering team to identify and capitalize on opportunities
  • Oversee a team dedicated to Hydrology & Hydraulics projects
  • Create systems for flood warning and forecasting
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Essential Qualifications

  • CFM Certification is advantageous
  • Expertise in HEC programs, XP-SWMM, EPA SWMM, and other pertinent software
  • Background in flood damage reduction and mitigation initiatives
  • Strong technical acumen in water resources engineering
  • Capability to manage and execute analyses for water resources projects
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with construction documentation and specifications
  • GIS proficiency is a plus

Required Credentials

  • Professional Engineer license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
  • At least 6 years of relevant project experience
  • Ability to enhance water resources practice
  • Solid understanding of flood warning systems
  • Knowledge of local design regulations and standards
